It is from a latest news report that Vietnam Airlines added a sixth flight to its fleet capacity, increasing the frequency at Heathrow airport. The new Boeing Dreamliner 787-9 flight is going to provide carrier cargo services to different destinations, which is introduced as a part of winter schedule 2015-16. The new Boeing Dreamliner is going to be a sixth flight in its total fleet capacity. It is announced by Vietnam Airlines that the new Boeing aircraft is going to provide carrier cargo services flying non-stop to Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, starting this Sunday i.e., from 25th October. Moreover, the cargo service carrier is going to provide cargo services three times per week offering non-stop services. With the newly added Boeing and cargo service route, Vietnam Airlines is going to gain the credit of first airline offering direct flight services for both passenger and cargo services in between Vietnam and UK.

In addition, Vietnam Airlines has brought great improvement in departure times. It is known from a source that the departure times from Heathrow Airport have got reduced completely to 11.00 hrs. This great improvement brought in departure times acted as good support for the improvement in onward flight connections, particularly within Indochina and Vietnam. Vietnam Airlines was the first one to operate modern Boeing aircrafts. This year, in the month of August, Vietnam Airlines gained the credit of first airlines in complete Asia operating both Airbus and Boeing, which are next generation aircrafts. That means, Vietnam Airlines at a time gained another record of operating next generation aircrafts for the first time. It is known from a source that Vietnam Airlines is going to take delivery of 19 Boeing aircrafts of model 787 by 2019 or even before that. All these new Boeing orders are part of their fleet capacity improvement programme. In addition, Vietnam Airlines is going to include additional 14 Airbus flights to its fleet capacity of model A350-900 XWB.

It is an expectation made by Vietnam Airlines that the new aircraft added to their fleet capacity will act as a good replacement for entire fleet having wide body aircrafts in it. At the same time, the new aircraft would enhance their services by improving their product offerings and also maintains cost effectiveness, particularly on long-haul routes connecting intercontinental routes. It is said by Airlines that the new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner would fly more than the previous Boeing 787-8 aircraft, carrying more cargo load than expectation. This week, on Sunday, the new Boeing Dreamliner is going to start its services from Heathrow airport to multiple destinations. The new service would definitely increase the frequency at Heathrow airport. At the same time, the new aircraft is going to improve the cargo traffic effectively in future. Overall the new Boeing and Airbus would definitely bring great improvement in the profits of Vietnam Airlines, minimising the losses. As it is going to start from this Sunday, it is yet to see whether the Airlines would achieve the expected profits or not.
