The southern air has recently added the Boeing freights to their freighter fleet list. By doing this, the total number of freighter fleets that it holds for the DHL express has become 10 now. The Southern Air has done this just for enhancing their Cargo services, said the sources. Thus the Southern air from now will get more customers for cargo services, says the sources. The southern is an operating subsidiary of the Worldwide Air logistics group. The firm has told that the addition of this fifth fleet to the DHL express is nothing but a part of the nine year flight services of the lessor. They formally have an agreement with the global logistics operator which was announced last year. The freight forwarders have told that they are happy about southern air increasing the number of fleets for the DHL express.
The Boeing 737-400 fleet is the fifth one of its kind, working for the DHL express, said the officials. Already the DHL express is making use of four Boeing 737-400 fleets and now the southern air has added the fifth one to the list. The company has told that this is going to be a separate long term agreement for the flight service. By adding the fifth Boeing 737-400 fleet to the DHL express, the southern air has proven that they are supporting the DHL express strongly and meeting their needs in the business plans and fleet requirements. This air freight is currently in good demand, said the Boeing.
Worldwide Air Logistics Group, Chief Executive, Dan McHugh has told that the fleet expansion what they have done recently for the DHL express is enhancing their support for the growing needs of the DHL Express and also to its worldwide customers. He has also added that the relationship between southern air and DHL express should be a long term one. He told that the Southern air is still working on various aspects to meet all the technical, business and fleet needs of DHL express. Southern Air is also providing fleet services to many freight companies.
