Oman Air Airlines Received its First Boeing 787 Dreamliner


According to the latest news – Oman Air is in celebrations on receiving of its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. It is known from a source that the Airlines has received the aircraft in this week. It was delighted to add the new Boeing aircraft to its fleet service. The Airlines has ordered six Boeing 787-8s model aircrafts in the month of November 2011 in order to expand its network further. Paul Gregorowitsch was the chief executive officer of Oman Air airlines. He expressed his delight on behalf of Oman Air that they are extremely happy to receive their first Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft enabled with award-winning service and at the same time, providing exclusive travel experience for their customers. He said that their decision of investment in a game-changing airplane will depict their confidence on Boeing 787 Dreamliner and it will definitely enhance the value of airlines by enhancing the operational efficiency, comfort offered to customers and reliability.

The new Boeing 787 Dreamliner is new aircraft belonging to efficient aircraft family of commercial type. Moreover, it is modern in design and enabled by great features meeting the range of big jet planes, competing with their speed. With all these features, the new Boeing 787 Dreamliner has launched in the market. Boeing designed the new aircraft 787 according to the preferences of Oman Air airlines, giving high prior to efficiency. The designed aircraft offering high efficiency will help the airlines in expanding its network by adding new flight routes to its network and at the same time, allowing passengers to travel to their desired destinations with extreme comfort. Boeing has started its services in 2011 since then the family of 787 model aircrafts has opened introducing more than 50 new routes providing non-stop services to different destinations around the world. Oman Air airlines said that it is going to use the first Dreamliner in providing services in between Europe and Saudi Arabia.

Ray Conner was the CEO and president of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. He said that they are feeling proud for providing Boeing 787 aircrafts’ to Oman Air and are delighted about the base growth towards their aircrafts providing services in the Middle East and as well as around the world. He said their partnership with Oman Air airlines has been started before 15 years. At that time, the Airlines is providing services to customers by operating on 737 family aircrafts. He continued that they are delighted in introducing new Boeing airplanes of twin-aisle in the growing fleet network of Oman Air airlines. As of today, Boeing has major customers of 787 in the Middle East which include an order of 175 Dreamliners along with 140 orders still in backlog. The Boeing has bound in a contract with Oman Air airlines, committing to provide multiple services, all together in a suite supporting the upcoming services of 787 Dreamliners. At the same time, it is ensuring high-quality service with great efficiency and enabled by cost saving feature to the fleet. These services are going to be advantageous for Oman Air airlines by minimizing the maintenance cost, time and at the same time, increases availability options for airplanes.
